We need less than is commonly thought to perceive information in cyberspace. Often just one heading or preview suffices.
These images are devoid of fetishized ‘quality grading’. They have been minimized and translated into Web format while preserving just 16 colours, or less. The raster data structure enables us to manipulate the size of images, increasing them without limitation, while the low resolution of these picture-images allows them to preserve and convey their informational gene with even the weakest Internet connection.
