Chicago

Even we don’t know why we painted our faces black or why this series is called Chicago. We were moved by a desire for freedom, for liberation, like the feeling black Americans had after Lincoln granted them emancipation; by a thirst for the drive you feel in a city of gangsters. Almost subconsciously we set ablaze the unmotivated and/or weakly motivated urge to copy, one of the main tendencies of local art.
