Transition

In frames of the Moscow City Day feast.

On the first weekend of September Multimedia Art Museum presents the exhibition «Transition» — a photographic portrait of Moscow, created by its citizens.

Underpasses are integral part of the city, as well as its streets, buildings and monuments, with their own life, atmosphere and inhabitants. Every day we go down here to cut a path, enter the subway or keep the rain out. However, the rhythm of the modern metropolis makes almost the whole city a kind of «transition»: it is divided into a set of «destinations», and everything that is «in between», we try to overcome as quickly as possible. The exhibition «Transition» is aimed to capture the rhythm of the city and become a stop, pause in its rapid everyday movement.
